Extracurriculuars at CRMS

At Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School, we are proud to offer a variety of enriching extracurricular and exploratory classes that help students discover their interests, build new skills, and grow beyond the traditional classroom. Below is an overview of the programs available to all CRMS students.

  • Our STEM Lab gives students hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Students explore creative problem-solving through projects, design challenges, and innovative technology.

  • Students build essential typing, computer, and digital-literacy skills while also learning the basics of business and workplace readiness.

  • The Art program encourages students to express themselves creatively through drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Students learn technique while exploring their own artistic style.

  • Band students develop musical skills through instrument instruction, ensemble performance, and participation in school concerts and events. No prior experience required.

  • Chorus gives students the opportunity to develop vocal technique, musical expression, and confidence while performing a variety of musical styles throughout the year.

  • PE promotes fitness, teamwork, and healthy habits through a wide range of physical activities and sports. Students learn the importance of staying active and building lifelong wellness skills.

  • SS Math provides additional math enrichment and support. Students practice problem-solving, strengthen foundational skills, and build confidence in their mathematical abilities.

  • This exploratory course introduces students to a variety of career fields and pathways. Students learn about their interests, strengths, and future opportunities in the world of work.
